The Solo tool is used for the production of front and back countersinks and back spotfacing of through-holes. This is done with a positive control and within one operation. The blade is extended and retracted in a radial direction by the centrifugal force. This method eliminates the risk of jamming the chips.

The tool features a high production reliability, as well as an easy to use machinery. A rugged tool system is employed by the machine, which enables it to process difficult materials, even with interrupted cuts. The tool also features manually exchangeable carbide blades which have material-specific cutting geometries and coatings.

The device can be used on any controlled machine without the need for a torque bracket or other mechanisms.
